Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

Senior Perms Consultant – Engineering and Manufacturing

We are working with a long established Recruitment Agency in South Yorkshire, who are now one of the strongest brands in the area – due to an internal change they have an opening for an experienced Recruiter to join them and take over an incredibly successful desk.

This represents an opportunity for someone with previous “perm” recruitment experience to take over a business with jobs waiting to be filled, candidates ready to be spoken to, and all the other tools you will need to continue the success. It is working in the busy Engineering and Manufacturing sector, in roles from £25k to high end Director / Senior management positions, so high fee’s and amazing bonus potential awaits! On top of this, the role is aimed at someone who over time can bring in new consultants around them and gradually take on a more Divisional Manager role.

On a day to day basis you will be speaking to your current client base, and taking their roles – you will have a resource to help you with the candidate flow, and access to the biggest job boards to ensure you are able to choose exceptional candidates. Pre-screening, interviewing and presenting, as well as ensuring all the post-offer runs smoothly –

On top of this you will upsell within the companies, seek other opportunities using your sales skills and will also receive all the permanent vacancies that materialise on the “temp desks” –

You will be busy, but will receive all the support you need. You will however need to be a proven Consultant within the recruitment marketplace, with an eye for the perfect match and able to work at speed. Although this role sits in the Engineering & Manufacturing sector, we are happy to hear from Recruitment Consultants from other sectors – maybe your current sector has taken a hit and you are not looking at bonus for a while, or maybe you feel it’s time for you to take on a role that will be a genuine career move.

This is a lucrative desk, you can expect bonus to come through quickly, and you will receive an excellent basic salary, with potential for car / allowance further down the line. This is a friendly team, in an office which is now seeing greater revenue than before lockdown, overseen by a team of friendly, supportive and knowledgeable senior Managers.
