Events / F&b Manager – Hospitality and Events

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events/F&B Manager to work for, the largest contract catering company in the world, working within a prestigious site. The ideal candidate must have a passion to work within this industry; you will be managing Large Functions, Corporate Bookings, Private Parties, Christmas parties, Conferences etc catering for 100 – 700.

The Events/Hospitality manager will be responsible for managing the various functions, we expect you to be very hands on and flexible.

Job Role – Events Manager/F&B Manager – Hospitality and Events:

As Conference and Events Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Ensure that all hospitality services are delivered to the highest standards
Managing a team 10 full time staff and 60 casual staff.
Overseeing the function rooms, conference suits and the VIP area
Ensure that all customer requirements are delivered
Staff development
Training and motivating staff
Ensure that budgets are understood and achieved

Key Attributes – Events Manager/F&B Manager – Hospitality and Events:

As Conference and Events Manager you must have:

Excellent knowledge and experience of working within the events and hospitality department
Managed a large team
Excellent people management and communication skills
Proven experience in managing successful teams
Multi site operational experience in a similar role
Excellent organisational skills
Very flexible in regards to working hours
Experience of leading and managing teams to deliver results
Able to work in a pressurised environment and be able to multi- task
Understanding of P&L accounts
