The service supports 2 individuals with complex needs, profound learning disabilities, autism and some behaviours that challenge. One individual is a wheelchair user and the other uses Makaton signs, but both require a high level of personal care support.
The role is 39 hours per week and will include administrative time and working on shifts; 07.30 – 15.00, 15.00 – 22.00, 09.00 – 17.00, sleep in’s. Waking nights as required, subject to change.
Essential – experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities autism and/or complex needs, have some level of experience supervising or managing a small to medium team within social care, able to support the individuals with day to day support including personal care, flexible to work shifts as required
Desirable – hold a full valid driving licence and access to own car.
