Transport Manager
Commutable from Glasgow, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Cumbernauld and East Kilbride
Up to £40,000 plus benefits

An excellent opportunity to join a growing distributor to enhance their logistics function that exceeds customer expectations whilst keeping the costs at the right level.
To manage all areas of the transport department in an effective manner in order to deliver goods to designed delivery points.
To control all department costs within agreed budgets.
To ensure standards of customer service exceed standards as required.
To maintain all company equipment, including vehicles, to a high standard and to ensure all relevant records are maintained in order to conform to ministry legislation.
To maintain all documentation relating to tachographs and driver hours.
To ensure effective teamwork within the department.
To produce KPIs relating to the department.
The ideal candidate will have previous transport management experience together with a CPC qualification.
