IT Support Assistant

IT Support Assistant – London – (1 year FTC) – 23-27K – VR/16571

Our client a specilaist Art Transport company are looking for an IT Support Assistant to join their IT team.

The main responsibilities of the IT Support Assistant will include:

– Provide general IT support
– Provide hardware and software support for all staff who use computers via telephone, remote connection or in person
– Create and update knowledgebase articles/user guides for all the company applications
– Provide training on applications on either a 1:1 basis or as a group
– Liaise with any 3rd party support companies to log any faults with hardware/software and follow to full resolution
– Check stock levels of cartridges etc. for all printers every fortnight and provide re-ordering information to the IT manager
– Assist the IT department with any admin work as and when required

The skills and experience required for the IT Support Assistant:

– 1+ years experience of working in an IT support environment
– 1+ years software support
– Training end users on a variety of software subjects
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office
– Knowledge of Microsoft OS
– Pleasant user interaction
– Good & professional communication skills
– A keen and inquisitive demeanour will be appreciated
– Ability and confidence to work effectively on own
– Ability to organise workload unsupervised.
– Be proactive with delivery of all IT support
– Comply with companies health and safety and fire practices and procedures

This is a full time position. Monday – Friday 9am-6pm on a fixted term contract for 1 year.

Salary of 23-37K depending on skills and experience.
