A finance analyst vacancy has emerged for an established manufacturing company in Rochdale. You will be joining a strong finance team in an important position. You will be working for a company that promotes self development and is very much looking for somebody who is ambitious and bright. You will be working in modern beautiful offices easily accessible located close to major transport routes with free on site parking.

Your finance analyst duties will be:
– Preparation of product costs
– Liaising with suppliers for quotes to determine who is best to use
– Assessing risk factors and other factors outside of cost
– Presenting plans to board and backing up case with reasoning and data
– Preparation of management accounts
– Ad hoc finance model preparation
– Supporting areas of finance such as sales ledger

To be a successful applicant you MUST have:
– Experience in cost analysis
– Competency on excel using vlookups, pivot tables and macros
– A strong personality and confident manner
– A good level of commercial awareness
