An opportunity has presented itself for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive/Sales Representative to join the sales department of one of the UK’s leading Designers and Suppliers to the Construction Industry.

Sales Executive / Sales Representative Role:-

As an Area Sales Representative your role will be to achieve and exceed Sales target by identifying opportunities to maximise profitable Sales and distribution of products. You will do this through developing opportunities with existing customers, enhancing the profile and image of the company’s products.
You will also be expected to build relationships with new customers, particularly main and sub-contractors in the Civil Engineering industry. This role will focus heavily around developing new client relationships and building existing. It would therefore be ideal if you had a background in the industry with a portfolio of Civil Engineering contacts that you could work from.

Role requirements and qualifications:-

Graduates are welcome to apply however, qualifications above are essential. Please note salary is not as high for a graduate position

To be considered as a successful candidate for this role, ideally you will need to have a solid background working in Field/Area/Territory Sales, with a track record of success within the construction industry.
Candidates with experience within the industry but in roles such as Design, Project Management or Site based roles who are looking at moving into a Technical Sales role are also encouraged to apply due to the technicality of the role.

Ideally degree qualified or HND/HNC within a relative field i.e Construction, Engineering or Mechanical
Engineering knowledge
Intermediate general numeracy skills
High level of IT skills with specific expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Reader, Word, and the Internet
Intermediate AutoCAD skills required
Ability to read / understand engineering plans and section details to a basic level

Package:-

Salary up to £48,000 + Bonus/OTE + Car + Benefits

The Sales Executive/Sales Representative role will be to offer to deliver selling niche Structural Solutions to the construction industry covering the North East and North West of Scotland.
