Mechanical Project Manager

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Parkinson Gray Associates have been engaged by our Client, an independent group of building services businesses, to assist them with their recruitment of an experienced Mechanical Project Manager.

This Client is a well established MEP contractor based towards the West of our Yorkshire region. They are a well known Client, being one of our longest standing employers. They have an enviable order book and plans for considerable growth during the course of 2022. As part of this expansion they are looking to make this appointment of a Mechanical Project Manager to join their small but expanding team.

As Mechanical Project Manager you will be profit and loss responsible, client facing and will have the technical knowledge required to make a design a reality on site – on time, on budget and to demanding quality standards. Projects will be range from the relatively modest up to around £2 million.

Our Client has a good back office function, as you would expect from a well established MEP contractor. That said, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for this role who can hit the ground running, making an impact from day one with minimal supervision. We are looking, therefore, for someone with a history of successful project completion who is looking to bring their skills and experience to a small, friendly and efficient business.

This role would suit a Mechanical Project Manager from either a large tier one environment or a smaller MEP contractor. Of course, if you come from the former you will appreciate that the environment is quite different from that of a large national corporate business. Perhaps that is what you are looking for and, if so, this would be a great place to work.

Whatever your experience and background, if you are a proven Mechanical Project Manager (in the building services contracting sense of the word, of course) then I want to hear from you. You can find my number on our website or simply apply here and I will drop you a line. Naturally, all conversations will be treated with utmost confidence.
