Salary: £42,000 – £72,000 per year
Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experinced Production Supervisor / Assistant Manager to join their busy operations based in Wales.
INDUSTRY
This position is with a steel industry organization, a leader in the production of hot-rolled steel.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
In this position you will be a Key employee in a busy Hot Strip Mill. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
•Troubleshoot the Hot Strip Mill system to identify, analyze and prioritize areas that produce less than optimal performance.
•Identify improvement and optimization projects.
•Communicate detailed technical advice and justifications to operating and maintenance personnel.
•Implement approved improvements to the Hot Strip Mill.
•Coach and mentor other employees.
