OnPoint are currently looking to recruit a Business Intelligence (BI) Consulting Manager to take responsibility for building and developing BI capability for our clients. In your first consulting assignment, you will support one of their top 10 UK clients establish their own internal capability through the effective deployment and expansion
As a Business Intelligence Manager you will have a strong consulting background and ability to lead, however, you will also enjoy being hands on in your approach with strong skills and experience in the curation, integration and visualisation of data and data analysis in order to unlock complex datasets and surface insight for external clients.
To apply you must:
* Have sound and demonstratable experience of the Business Intelligence domain both in technical application and in strategic development.
* Be able to demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership and vision both in their respective domain and the leadership and development of both internal colleagues and external resources.
* Demonstrates a strong analytical and methodical approach to problem solving.
* Experienced in complex systems analysis and have an aptitude for translating complex client needs to technical solutions and architecture.
* Be a confident communicator, including written and verbal communication, and a good listener, with the ability to grasp complex business situations and represent them both technically and to business users up to C-Level.
* Have 5+ experience in Business Intelligence roles, or equivalent, which demonstrate exceptional proficiency in technologies and mythologies such as:
* Kimball and\or Data-vault methods.
* Relational and non-relational technologies such as Azure SQL Warehouse, Azure Synapse.
* Warehousing and BI solutions using cloud technologies – hosted via IaaS and PaaS.
* Integrating complex data sets, structured and unstructured, using ETL\ELT technologies.
* SQL, C#, Java or Python
* PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik
