Senior Software Engineer (Linux / Android)

Unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Linux/Android) to build secure variants of standard Android and Linux working across the software stack in the following areas: kernel level embedded Linux, Android framework (Java), Android application level (Java) and Linux OS layer (C++). The successful Senior Software Engineer (Linux/Android) will work in a small and dynamic embedded software team, working across all levels of the stack, where your voice will be heard and where working closely with the CEO is commonplace. You should therefore have commercial confidence and a can do attitude and you will be rewarded with a varied and interesting role with great career progression.

Essential Senior Software Engineer (Linux/Android) Skills:

• Knowledge of Linux kernel development and low level libraries
• Knowledge of systems level Android frameworks
• C and Java programming
• Interest in development at all levels of the mobile stack from low level kernel, drivers to applications

Role: Senior Software Engineer (Linux/Android)
Location: Central London
Salary: £42,000 – £60,000 plus private healthcare, pension, life cover, season ticket loan and salary exchange benefits (childcare vouchers, ride2work, pension)
