Systems Engineer – Financial Services – AD – SQL Server – ISS – Windows Server
Systems Engineer is required to join UK’s leading companies within financial services based in the City of London.
Key Responsibility of System Engineer:
Design, Implementation, Operation, Support
Maintain competence and personal development
Take key decisions in respect of the impact of the fault/change on users and the existing infrastructure
General 2nd/3rd line support
Software Lifecycle management and upgrades
Maintain device software versions and configurations according to standards and policiesEssential Experience of System Engineer:
Very strong understanding of Microsoft technologies such as:
Window Server 2003 – 2012R2
SQL Server 2000 & 2005
Internet Information Service (IIS)
Basic understanding of
.Net framework
Web Hosting
LDAP, HTTP, TCP/IP
Load Balancing
Past experience in desktop support
Working knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols & technologies
Experience in Banking & Finance or a similar high pressure environment
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related disciplineSalary – £25,000 – £32,000 + Benefits
