Nursery Deputy Manager

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

A lovely, thriving nursery in Harlow is looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager to join their team!

The Deputy Manager would be involved in the running and the management of the nursery with the view of covering the Manager for maternity leave. Once the Manager returns, there would be the possibility of co-managing the nursery.

This role would suit an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager who is looking to take the next steps in their career.

The successful candidate would:

• Have prior experience within the management of children’s nurseries
• Create a safe, caring and welcoming setting in which parents are happy to entrust their child
• Promote a stimulating and engaging environment for children to flourish within
• Be sensitive to the needs of the children and their families
• Promote the nursery’s services in line with the facility’s ethos and brand
• Be confident in making decisions that affect the daily aspects of the nursery and business
• Supervise, support and mentor the staff team with inspirational and ambitious practice
• Work closely with the Nursery Manager and Director, whilst working autonomously on the day-to-day management responsibilities

This is a full-time position (40hrs per week) to start immediately.
