Stock Controller

Salary: £31,200 per year

Stock Controller / Stock Control Co-ordinator

Due to an increase in projects, we are recruiting for a stock controller to join an award-winning team. The successful candidate will be joining a flexible, innovative and extremely driven engineering company. The main duty of this role is to oversee the movement of stock and maintain suitable levels of stock to support engineers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Build a good relationship with new and existing customers
• Ensure that customer care is highly reflected throughout all aspects of work
• Control purchasing of parts for stock replenishment and direct sales.
• Set up minimum and maximum stock levels to correctly support the fleet of machines and to support service engineers
• Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Create purchase orders for required parts.
• Complete sales orders for parts
• Support technical with parts orders for planned repairs
• Support Install team with sourcing parts for installation snags
• Attending quarterly appraisals and training reviews
• Provide monthly stock reports
• Oversee accurate stock take for field engineers

The Person:

• Good planning and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and calmly under pressure.
• Experience in manufacturing and heavy plant industries would be highly advantageous.

Working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 2:30pm Friday.
