The Role – Engineering Stores Controller

Reporting to the Engineering Purchaser.
Responsibilities
• Supervising all Goods Inwards & Outwards
• Maintain adequate supply of consumables and stock
• Carry out Perpetual Inventory Counts
• Maintain all Documents, Database Systems relating to stocks
• Supervising storage of stock
• Authorised Purchasing
• Ensure Stock system records are maintained
• To maintain a well organised, efficient and safe stores in support of minimising equipment downtime and improving performance and value.
• To provide a professional service to the site, assisting both engineering & production.
Experience required for this role
• Heavy Engineering background
• Previous experience working in a engineering or manufacturing environment
• Stores, goods-in and stock control experience are essential. Arranging shipments within UK and abroad, with all
• Fork Lift license
• Possess strong organisational and inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to ensure that operating procedures for the engineering stores are enforced
• Good computer skills
