HV Field Test Engineer

Due to unprecedented growth, a leading firm within the world of Electrical Engineering is currently seeking to expand its team of HV Field Test Engineers. The HV Field Test Engineers are responsible for visiting customer sites and performing High Voltage testing activities on customer equipment including transformers, switchgear and cables.
The role will involve:
• Travelling to customer sites in the UK and Europe to conduct testing activities
• Carrying out Ultrasonic, Harmonics and Partial Discharge Testing
• Making the necessary reports to the client and to head office
• Making recommendations for repairs and upgrades and carrying them out if possible
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Similar experience of working in a field based test role
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent test and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of another European Language would be an advantage
