Power Generation Maintenance Manager

A Leading provider of Power Generation equipment is now seeking a Service and maintenance Manager to provide 24 hour cover on a rota basis for UK wide assets

Responsibilities:
1. Scheduling and prioritising of planned and preventative required for continuous 24hour power generation
2. Responsible for and included on the 24 hour rota for on call support.
3. Scheduling of all engineering and maintenance works
4. Ownership and leadership of fault diagnosis and breakdowns
5. Team leadership to motivate and encourage the engineering team to provide high standards of service with a can do attitude
6. Daily reporting
7. Interaction with suppliers for cost effective procurement
8. Coordination of support partners
9. Managing subcontractors for specialist services
10. Ensure KPI requirements are satisfied in line with client contracts
11. Customer support
12. Working closely with senior management to further develop the engineering team.

Skills and experience:
Five years minimum experience of team leadership directly within essential power generation
Experience of remote fault diagnosis (dial up)
Good communication skills and team-working ability
Full driving license
Good knowledge of and experience maintenance process and activities
Good demonstrable computer skills in particular MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Good working knowledge and experience of H & S including RA and MS
Preferably experienced working with CHP units
