Finance Assistant

Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year

This growing market leading SME are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their expanding team. This role has been created due to company growth and would be a great opportunity for someone looking for their 1st role within finance. This role will be a mixture of remote & office working.

Finance Assistant – About The Role

In this role you will be working within a finance team of 5 and assisting with the daily running of the finance function. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the accounts payable function as well as working closely with the Assistant Accountant at month end. This role provides study support and the opportunity to work within an exciting growing organisation. Your key responsibilities will be:

* Processing multi-currency invoices and expenses.

* Ensuring invoices are processed with the correct VAT inputs.

* Ensuring company policy/procedures for authorising invoices are adhered to.

* Assist with the preparation of supplier payments by BACS.

* Setting up new supplier accounts and resolving any queries.

* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.

* Supplier statement reconciliations and processing of staff expenses.

The successful Finance Assistant will be:

* A finance graduate or school leaver

* Looking to or currently studying AAT/ACCA OR CIMA

* Strong IT/Excel skills

* Ability to communicate at all levels
