Permanent Nights Shift Pattern

Monday – Friday // 10pm to 6am

Our client, a Market leading manufacturing company has an urgent requirement for a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. Working from their state of the art Manufacturing site based in Blackburn, this opportunity offers the chance to be involved in multiple aspects on their fast paced production equipment. With progressive training and development these roles allow promotion in the longer term, whilst being supported by a friendly and welcoming team.

Role Description
– Carrying out safe and efficient tool changes
– Ensure customer orders are processed through production quickly and efficiently
– General upkeep / maintaining of machinery
– Working with Cell Leaders and Management to continuously improve operations
– Adhering to all site Health & Safety, Hygiene Regulations and Safe Working procedures

Skills and Qualifications
– Experience in the Plastics Manufacturing Industry
– Previous Technical Operating role within a manufacturing context
– Basic Microsoft office competency
– Lean Manufacturing Techniques practitioner (Desirable)
– Basic Communication / Team Working skills
