An exciting opportunity has arisen within the business for a Purchasing Assistant:
The position is ideally suited for someone looking to progress and grow within an ever-expanding company and for someone who has purchasing experience. The person needs to be self-motivated and has confidence working within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Golborne, Cheshire
What you bring to the Table:
* Ability to work to a high level of accuracy
* Have a flexible approach to a wide range of tasks
* Must be pro-active with a ‘can-do attitude
* Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
* Have excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to adapt to changing business needs
* Has a strong administrative background, ideally within a purchasing function
Your Tasks:
* Creation and updating of purchase orders
* Dealing with general queries on product and pricing
* Administrative tasks required for the effective operation of the Purchasing Department
* Ensuring suppliers deliver to agreed timescales
* Managing replenishment levels to ensure efficient delivery of products to customers
* Liaising effectively with external suppliers and colleagues at all levels
* Manage existing accounts and potential new accounts to ensure best price and terms and conditions are achieved
– Hours of work at 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 9 am – 4 pm Friday.
– 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
