Finance Assistant

We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to join a finance team within the sporting industry. With previous experience as an accounts assistant, assistant accountant, or similar, the ideal candidate will be experienced working in smaller teams alongside the FD. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in at the early stages of growth.

The role –

– Preparation of Monthly Accounts up to trial balance

– Bank reconciliations

– Processing invoices and raising overdue payments

– Processing payments for the purchase ledger and all transactions relating to sales ledger

– Processing all transactions through SAGE accounting software

– Reconciling of company fixed asset register

– Ad-hoc duties as and when required

The person –

– Experience as an Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper (3 to 5 years’ experience)

-Experience with SAGE Line 50

– Essential that the candidate can work alone and take initiative but also a great team player

– Take control of their work load

– Positive attitude
