Project Engineer (Civil and Construction) required for an international engineering specialist in the construction and civil sector. This is a role for the major projects side of the business working from both a technical aspect and commercial role with the customer directly.
The successful candidate will ideally be a degree (or equivalent) qualified in a Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering discipline with a focus on temporary works schemes or groundworks applications. The role will also require a large amount of building and structure analysis using CAD skills in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
You will be responsible for a number of different areas in the business such as Propping, Groundworks, Temporary Bridging and Road/Track access.
The role
* Project Engineer (Civil and Construction)
* Design and analysis of major works projects for a number of clients in the UK
* Designing hydraulic and fabrication layouts to facilitate delivery, installation and removal of equipment for customer delivery sites
* Concept and Design using AutoCAD for bespoke customer requirements
The person
* Project Engineer / Temporary Works Design Engineer / Groundworks Engineer
* Previous experience in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) essential
* Ideally degree qualified in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
* Commercial acumen and excellent communication skills to deal with customers and clients
