An excellent opportunity for a Project & Continuous Improvement Engineer is now available with a leading manufacturer who produce some of the most successful and well-loved brands in their category.

The Role:

To drive a culture of C.I. throughout engineering dept
Delivery of capital projects to the highest possible standard
To implement project management systems, business standard specifications and to ensure continued improvement in project management skills.
To ensure best practice in the maintenance of plant & equipment
To ensure suitable measures are in place to quickly identify reliability issues and identify corrective actions by the use of C.I. tools and methodology
To assess skills requirements for engineers and help develop training plans
Develop improvement plans for top reliability issues
Establish KPI’s for measuring performance and driving C.I.
Use time & motion study to ensure maintenance tasks are carried out effectively
Identify ways to reduce repair times and PPM tasks
Identify ways to increase production volumes through engineeringCandidate Requirements:

Qualified to HNC/HND level
Previous experience of working within a Capital Projects & Maintenance Engineering role
Experience of leading Change Management Projects
Implementation of Project Strategies
Previous experience within a similar C.I. role
Experience within the FMCG or Food Manufacturing sector
Knowledge of 5S, Lean, RCA, 8D, FMECA, Process mapping etc
Previous experience of coaching and developing teams
Strong commercial & people focus
Able to identify and develop KPI’s/measuresTo Apply:
