Business Development Executive – Financial Services Software

Salary: £120,000 – £168,000 per year

A value-driven and fast-paced banking technology company is currently looking to appoint a proven business developer to further increase market share and brand recognition in the financial services and wealth management industry.

The Position:

The appointed Business Development Executive will help drive further growth in the wealth management and private banking market as part of an experienced and high achieving team. Key responsibilities will include:

* Collaborating with product management teams to support product definition based on identified market requirements

* Liaising with marketing teams to coordinate a marketing calendar including participation in sales and marketing events

* Acquiring and assessing sales opportunities, including identification and coverage of buying centre members and stakeholders

* Contributing to a multi-site sales strategy for international accounts, in partnership with the leading sales executive/manager

* Implementing a successful sales strategy for designated sales projects, supporting the definition of business cases for prospective clients

* Reaching sales targets by initiating and managing sales projects until the conclusion of contracts with new clients

* Coordinating meetings, presentations and workshops with prospective clients as well as internal resources

* Collaborating with pre-sales to prepare offers and answering RFIs and RFPs

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a highly driven and ambitious individual with the ability to lead from the front while also contributing to a strong and collaborative team spirit. He or she will need to be capable of demonstrating:

* Complex deal structuring experience including lift outs of technology and operations

* A proven track record within the financial, private banking and wealth management industry

* Extensive sales experience including a demonstrable track record of profitable deal closure

* Relevant experience in front/middle and back-office systems and services

* Excellent presentation and proposal (RFI/RFP) skills

* Strong analytical skills and a willingness to travel

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
