Control Systems Engineer

Salary: £60,000 – £78,000 per year

Due to continuous growth and business success my client is looking for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join their engineering team. My client is an established packaging machinery, manufacturer. Their ideal candidate will have proven control systems experience using Omron and Mitsubishi PLCs within the food and beverage packaging industry.
Control Systems Engineer role:
You will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for innovating, integrating, developing and implementing control systems for new food and beverage industry packaging machinery technology. As the Control Engineer your duties will include, writing / programming, test proving, commissioning and support of my clients new and existing range of packaging machinery. Implement new technology, such as servo / inverter drives, Omron and Mitsubishi PLCs, HMI’, motion controllers and other standard equipment. Produce electrical software design schematics, wiring diagrams and bills of materials. Integrate my clients machinery into customers existing packaging machinery equipment.
Control Systems Engineer requirement:
Proven Controls Systems Engineering experience relating to packaging machinery
Food and beverage industry experience
Omron, Mitsubishi as well as other PLC programming experience would be beneficial
Design and implementation of machinery control systems
Qualified to relevant Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Control Systems discipline to HND / HNC / degree level.
