Warehouse Operations Manager

Salary: £46,800 – £49,200 per year

As Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll be undertaking a unique opportunity to directly impact the warehouse operation, and how our client meets their commitment to delivery excellence in the UK.

You will be Supporting the General Manager by both building scalable and efficient processes, responsible for monitoring operational data in order to manage the process effectively.

Overall you and your team will be responsible for the management of receiving Customer orders from the CS Team, picking and packing of the order to handing over the order to one of the drivers on your team.

What you need to be successful in this role:-

* Experience in operating within FMCG or a small item pick pack operation – currently active SKU is 33k.

* Exceptional operational thinking and execution.

* Strong and confident communication skills – both written and verbal including the ability to work with remote teams where necessary.

* Experience of managing various stakeholders.

* A huge drive for solid execution and creative problem solving.

* It is a MUST that you are extremely flexible and a resilient individual who can switch between strategic initiatives and swiftly pivot into immediate tactical actions the next.

* Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines – you must be comfortable working in a dynamic, high-paced environment with a natural inclination to challenge the status quo.

* Multi-unit management would be desirable.

* Experienced in WMS implementation and development.

* Practical understanding of H&S in a Warehouse environment.

* MS Office – intermediate level.

* Solid People Management experience.

* Highly analytical approach to everything – utilising data to help measure and make data-driven decisions in your day-to-day management.

* Management consulting experience in previous roles would be advantage

Your Responsibilities will be:-

* Daily management of the Warehouse Team

* Having oversight and drive success in key warehouse operations initiatives in the London warehouse facilities in Waltham Abbey by developing and monitoring KPI’s to exceed targets and drive ownership within the team.

* Ensure all warehouse units have standardised set-up and scalable processes in place to drive warehouse efficiencies.

* Build stream-lined processes including managing goods in, putting away, stock and inventory management, picking and packing of orders, quality control and monitoring.

* Identify new opportunities to increase warehouse efficiencies and customer experience.

* Collaborate with multifunctional teams across the business, partnering closely with sales, Operations, Marketing and Technology.

* Complete regular stock counts/PI’s accurately

* Reduce in miss-picks/CNF, damages etc
