Embedded C# Software Engineers

Advantage Resourcing are looking for 4 Embedded C# Software Engineers
to join our client a global engineering services provider in their co-located teams based in their world leading defence industry client’s Luton facility. These Software roles are an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a very capable and growing engagement where you will be working with cutting edge technology within a defence environment focused on the development of electronic warfare systems.

As a software engineer, you will work within an integrated project team and be responsible for creating high quality and robust designs and code, for fully documenting and recording your work products, keeping them under configuration management and providing plans and progress reports.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
*Relevant science-based honours degree e.g. Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Electronic Engineering (BSc (Hon)/ BEng (Hon)/ MEng)
Essential
*Experience developing software in industry, or experience of a research and development organisation
*Programming in an object-oriented programming language. C# is mandatory.
*Confident in Object Oriented Design and UML (Unified Modelling Language)
*Familiarity with Model Driven Engineering
Desirable
*Experience in some of the areas below would be beneficial.
*Emulators, Synthetic Environment
*Datalinks and Interfaces such as 1553/1760 and Ethernet TCP/IP
*Visual Studio
*Git, Azure DevOps
*Confluence,
*ReSharper
*Rhapsody,
*MatLab/Simulink,
*DOORS,
*Dimensions
*Experience and appreciation of Agile development methodologies
*Preferred background in Electronic Warfare, Automotive, Rail, Transportation, Aerospace or other domains that are tightly regulated.

British Nationality is mandatory to be able to be able to obtain SC clearance, but current valid SC clearance would be an advantage.
