Marketing Assistant required for a growing manufacturer based in Fareham. Reporting directly into the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant will provide market support to the sales marketing department involving marketing functions such as market research, market reports, promotion (press release, advertising, exhibition, brochures) and public relations

The Role
Support the sales team with market research and marketing analysis for existing and new product development. Determine 5 ‘P’ information
Support the preparation of market reports for sales
Support the organisation of worldwide exhibitions and events. Including booking, pre-show organisation, stand shipment, set-up, dismantling and return. Post-show reporting of costs and ROIs for each event
Preparation of written, technical publicity materials, such as press releases and advertorials, and distribution to publishers
Support sales with organisation of samples and promotional materials such as brochures
Support the modification and constant revision of the corporate CMS website, which will involve liaising with the market and departmental managers to gain up to date company information
Analyse and report on web, press release and advertising statistics and relay to the management team
Assist in the updating of the company CMS intranet

Requirements
The Marketing Assistant must have at least 2 years’ experience in a marketing function for an engineering company / manufacturer
Ideally the Marketing Assistant will have a business or marketing degree or CIM qualified
Be pro-active and able to work in a team
Computer literate
Driving licence
