Clinical Operations Manager – Covid 19 Mass Vaccination Programme

Salary: £480 – £510 per day

We are currently supporting the National NHS COVID 19 Mass Vaccination Programme; we are seeking senior clinicians with managerial experience on a full and part time basis. 

Main Responsibilities:

Provide professional/clinical leadership of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations;
Responsible for clinical oversight of multiple vaccination and post-vaccination observation pods within a mass vaccination site;
Responsible for coordination and oversight of screening and vaccination delivery; clinical escalations of clinical supervisors, clinical assessors and vaccination staff;
Consistent clinical reviews of patient safety conditions and identification of potential clinical risks and concerns;
Ensure the effective delivery of care including undertaking specialist procedure, providing specialist advice, structured education and ongoing support to the site staff and patients;
Ensure a consistently resilient, high quality process of delivering COVID-19 vaccinations;
Lead the clinical specialty providing leadership, development and governance in relation to the clinical area and supporting other clinicians regarding patient treatment and management;
Ensure that systems and protocols are in place for the identification, response and evaluation of untoward incidents and that all relevant stakeholders understand these;

A successful candidate will have:

Hold current NMC pin/registration as RGN/RMN/RNLD with considerable experience of working at management level within a healthcare setting;
Experience of delivering clinical supervision to junior staff;
A proven track record of working in a busy environment showing adaptability, flexibility and ability to cope with uncertainty and change.
