Senior Ils Engineer

Salary: £60,000 – £90,000 per year

Leonardo has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior ILS Engineer on a permanent yet flexible basis; our custom working policy gives employees the option to work on-site or remotely to balance both personal and business needs. The Senior Supportability Engineer will need to be familiar developing support requirements and influence design for EW Equipment.

The Senior ILS Engineer will have experience of full lifecycle engineering, with a key focus on creating multi-level requirements and developing effective verification and validation plans. The Senior ILS Engineer should have experience of influencing design by conducting Logistic Support Analysis to aid in the delivery of battle winning solutions. The role inherently requires a strong aptitude for problem solving, as well as managing potentially conflicting inputs from multiple stakeholder groups.

This Senior ILS Engineer role will span the lines of business within EW and will support other Leonardo UK sites in support of improving platform capability.
Coordinating, verifying and delivering work-packages within a small team of specialised engineers to perform Logistic Support Analysis of our new products and product upgrades.
Work closely with specialist teams to influence system design concepts.
Perform LSA Analysis of proposed solutions and present findings against requirements
Utilise RM&T modelling to evaluate concept designs, perform trade-off studies, and evaluate results.
Present key findings and recommendations to stakeholder groups.
Responsible for writing and co-ordinating the production of ILS element plans and ILS case reports.
Provide input to integration and test plans / procedures to assess Supportability design compliance.
Develop Supportability Requirements for Suppliers and Development Products.
Produce evidence to demonstrate Supportability compliance with design and requirements specifications.
Attend technical meetings and workshops with customers and industry partners.
