CSCS Multi-Skilled Operative/Trainee Slinger Signaller

V-Recruit are currently recruiting for 3 x Multi- Skilled Operatives and/or CPCS/NPORS Slinger Signallers to start work in Driffield, YO25 as soon as possible

Our client specialises in the installation of modular units around the UK and are looking for a semi-skilled operative for their site teams, to join them as soon as possible on a temp to perm basis.

We are also looking for operatives who are already trained,partially trained, or interested in gaining qualifications in Slinger Singalling

Duties to include:

• Reporting to the office in Driffield at the beginning of each week and getting schedule of works. You will then travel to sites around the UK to install new, refurbish existing or move modular units/cabins to/from various sites.
• You will be required to read plans and drawings, to assist with the install of prefabricated modular units/cabins. This may include basic joinery, electrical installs, basic plumbing etc.
• This role will usually be working away MondayFriday – full digs, travel and a daily food/drink allowance paid by our client
• If training/tickets allow, you may be required to act as Slinger Signaller/MEWP Operator to assist with these installs

Job Specifics

• £16.8 £16 per hour
• Working away, Monday to Friday – travel, accommodation and daily food allowance covered by the client
• Hours are Monday to Friday, 812 hours per day (depending on travel/location/scope of works)
• This is a temp to perm role, with the 12week probationary period through V-Recruit
• Start dates ASAP

Candidate Requirements

• We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in multitrade/multi-skilled work, including competence in the use of all basic hand and power tools
• We are looking for someone to have their own basic tools, including impact driver/cordless drill – these will be maintained by our client for general wear and tear, if due care is demonstrated
• Candidates must be willing to work away from Monday to Friday
• We are looking for reliable, hardworking team players, who will work with their team to achieve a common goal
• CSCS card required
• Full UK driving licence essential (maximum 6 points at our client’s discretion)
