Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £49,800 per year

Shft Pattern – Double Days  Salary – £49,800per annum

A leading FMCG business is currently growing their Maintenance Engineering team, due to high product demand.

Reporting into the Maintenance Engineering Manager, a maintenance engineer will take responsiblity for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within a fast paced production environment. As a Key member of the maintenance engineering team you will share responsiblity for achieveing budgeted machine perfromance targets and ensuring machines are ketp running to peak performance.

Maintenance Engineer’s Key Responsibilites:

• Facilitating a speedy response to all plant stoppage and plan/implement modifications to new exisitng equipment
• Carrying out fault finding diagnosis/repair on equipment/ machinery
• Making sure Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules are maintained in accordance with the current requirements
• Continous Improvements
• Ensure accurate & timely records are entered

Succesful Maintenance Engineer will have/be:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing / production environment
• Time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical or Mechanical NVQ / C&G Level 3 or higher
• Excellent Communication Skills
