About Our Client

My client is a leading Food Manufacturer based in South Wales. My client is one of the biggest food companies in the UK employing over 23,000 people. As part of their continued expansion plans my client is looking to recruit a number of positions within their manufacturing facility. We have an opportunity for Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers ideally with a food manufacturing background but not essential.

Description

* Carrying out and record corrective maintenance on Plant Machinery
* Carry out and record Planned Maintenance
* To ensure good communication with other engineering shifts
* Inform Supervisor or Manager of any production downtime
* As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you are also required to ensure fault logs are kept up to date
* To ensure all machinery and services are in working order
* Ensure that all work undertaken complies with the engineering department policies procedures and the Health and Safety at Work
* To ensure all documentation is completed and accurate and kept up to date and handed to the relevant department on time.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have the following demonstrable skills:

* Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer qualified to O.N.C standard or equivalent experience
* A sound technical background
* Ideally have post apprenticeship experience within a factory engineering environment

What’s on Offer

Salary package & shift allowance, up to £33,600 inc shift allowance

Working on a 4 on 4 off shift basis
