CAD Technician

Salary: £26,400 – £28,800 per year

CAD Technician, Hull, Up to C 24,000 (could go higher depending on experience.)

Arlington Moore is working exclusively for a hugely successful, well-established design to manufacture engineering company based in Hull who have an enviable global client base. Due to ongoing expansion and further contracts, they are looking to recruit a CAD Technician for their busy engineering and projects team.

The CAD Technician will create CAD drawings and models that reflect the customers’ requirements on each order along with schematics and fabrication drawings for the manufacturing processes.

Reporting to the Project Manager the CAD Technician will be responsible for the following;

• Preparation of elevations, sections and fixing detail drawings for submission to Architects, Engineers and clients
• Liaising with Architects, Engineers and clients to ensure compliance with specification and budget
• Inputting data to software package to produce BOM, cutting lists and worksheets for use on shop floor
• Attending site meetings/resolve site issues
• Preparing operation and maintenance files for each project
• Liaising with internal company departments to ensure project programs are maintained

Qualifications and experience of the CAD Technician

• Strong AutoCAD and BIM knowledge
• 2D draughting Skills in AutoCAD is essential
• Confident with MS office software packages
