Field Service Engineer / Service Technician
Salary: £31,200 – £34,800plus lots of overtime available
Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm
Location: Tewkesbury, easily commutable from Worcester, Gloucester, Stroud, Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, Cheltenham, Banbury
Duration: Permanent

Highly successful specialised machinery manufacturer require an additional Field Service Engineer to join their Service Team due to an increasing workload. Working as part of a friendly team, you will be responsible for visiting customers to effect repair / service / upgrades of interesting, complex machinery. With the back-up of an efficient support team and spares system this will enable you to smoothly rectify issues in the field. This is very interesting work and the company actively support progression through technical training and development.
You will need to have sound field service experience to include diagnostics and repair. You should have strong mechanical engineering skills, ideally to include pneumatics. A knowledge of basic electrical fault finding will be required and experience of PLC would be a distinct advantage. Ongoing PLC systems training will be included to ensure you will be self-sufficient in this field. You will need to be well organised and hold a full UK driving licence.
