Position Title: Learning Support assistant

Position Description:
Strategy Education are working with a number of schools across Norfolk that will be in high demand for Support assistants. As a teaching assistant you’ll support teachers and help children with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom.

Your job can include:
1. getting the classroom ready for lessons
2. helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
3. helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
4. supervising group activities looking after children who are upset or have had accidents clearing away materials and equipment after lessons

3 Key Skills Required:
• Previous work as LSA
• Cleared DBS and in date
• GCSE in English, Maths, Science or O’Levels Etc.

Due to Safe guarding Strategy Consultants are required to meet all the teachers we employ, and those employed by us will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent employer.
