Autism Learning Support Assistant

Vision for Education are actively seeking experienced Autism Learning Support Specialists for SEN schools in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people on either a 1-2-1 or small group basis. Experience working with young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, MLD or SEMH would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will:

* Be available 5 days a week
* Have a full UK driving license and access to a car
* Be interested in pursuing a career within SEN schooling environments
* Have the ability to adapt their teaching style to young people from a variety of different backgrounds
* Have experience working in an SEN schooling environment
* Have experience working with young people with ASC
* Have a caring and empathetic nature and a natural ability to form strong bonds with young people

This position will begin on a temporary/supply basis with the possibility of it becoming full time and permanent.
