Account Manager – Asset Finance Sales

SALARY: Basic £30/30k + £6k car allowance + Company bonus with great benefits!

LOCATIONS: Staffordshire, Leicester/Lincs, South Yorkshire (Doncaster)

We have a new and exciting career opportunity to join a bank owned Asset Finance company. The role is an Account Manager and will be actively involved in developing new business in the area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Participate in identifying and approaching new customers to promote the company’s financing products and services
2.Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new supplier/accountant contacts and customers to promote business and identify further new business opportunities
3.Coordinate activities with other sales team members
4.To liaise with customers and suppliers by telephone, electronically and in person regarding proposals for new agreements, queries on existing agreements and supply of invoices and other documentation
5.Assess the quality of the proposal through appropriate checks such as Annual Report & Accounts, management accounts, searches and appropriate product information if necessary
6.The preparation of new business documents for customer signature as required, and pass appropriate documentation for processing once agreed
7.Respond to management initiatives on targeting particular sectors
8.Maintain appropriate records and database information on customer base
9.Undertake any other similar or related activities as and when required
10.Ensure that procedures have been appropriately addressed and documented

SUCCESSFUL PERSON WILL HAVE:

– Sound experience within asset finance or business banking/finance
– Experience and success in face to face cold calling of new business customers and new supplier introducers
– An understanding of finance products
– Fully conversant with the requirements of the Consumer Credit Act
– Knowledge of TCF
– Computer literate (good knowledge of MS Office suite – Excel, Word)
