Senior AV Installation Engineer

Salary: £40,800 – £48,000 per year

Senior Engineers are the front line in ensuring that this quality is maintained and upheld throughout our work. By taking the lead on our larger projects and training Junior Engineers to ensure they are trained to a high standard, you will play a fundamental part to ensure this reputation keeps building.

Typically, the daily duties of the Senior Installation Engineer will include:

• Oversee a constantly evolving portfolio of projects, ensuring that the companies meticulous standards are constantly delivered.

• Deputise for the Project Manager on-site surveys and client meetings as required.

• Work alongside Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of installation projects.

• Attend site surveys, and liaise with clients, and site managers as required by Project Manager.

• Head up the onsite engineering team on larger-scale jobs as required by Project Manager.

• Oversee Health and Safety implementation on sites you are responsible for.

• Hand over jobs to engineering teams when required by Project Manager.

• Be the first point of contact for engineers who require assistance on any of your sites.

• Manage and oversee the development of Junior Engineers.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of installation techniques and the equipment that we are integrating.

• Manage the timely completion of projects you are overseeing.

• Ensure standards are maintained throughout.

Essential Requirements

• Extensive experience in AV installation.

• Experience in terminating Cat5 & 6, XLR, 232 cntrl, Speakon, BNC, EDAC.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

Strong experience working on both building sites and corporate environments.

• Knowledge and experience in implementing Health and Safety policies on site.

• Great communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to think laterally and problem-solve on your feet.

• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

• Full Driving Licence.

• ECS/CSCS card holder.

Senior AV Installation Engineers will:

• Be a strong leader with the ability to drive their team while also motivating and developing their skills.

• Be able to demonstrate, develop and maintain an understanding of products & technologies.

• Have a keen awareness of Health and Safety to ensure that company policies are always adhered to.

• Have excellent communication skills to be able to interact with site managers and corporate clients.

• Provide continual feedback to the Project Manager in relation to onsite activity & procedures.

The following will be included within the overall package:

• Salary £40,800 – £48,000
