Salary: £32,400 – £36,000 per year
Worldwide Installation Engineer
Our global automation client in looking for a Worldwide Installation Engineer.
Responsibilities:-
1. Install equipment throughout the world, according to pre-determined configurations and plans.
2. Interpret installation design plans (CAD drawings), and implement the installation according to those plans.
3. Make local modifications where required, as discussed with the Installation (SITE) Supervisor.
4. Feedback to the department office on rework issues.
Requirements:-
Essential
Experienced in installation work in a commercial sector
Interpret installation design plans (CAD)
Possess excellent technical knowledge of automation
Proficient at report writing
Proficient in Risk Assessment and Method Statement generation
Practical mechanical skills
Desirable
· Pneumatics’ experience
· PLC Experience
· Mechanical assembly
Please note that the individual will be away from home for long periods of time – engineers are usually away for six weeks at time, come back for a week and go off again. This position can take the individual all over the world.
