Job Title: Finance Manager (Acute Contracts)

Contract Length: 3-6 Months
Daily Rate: £300 – £420

This is the ideal opportunity for an NHS Finance Manager who has had exposure working with Acute Contracts from a financial perspective and is looking for their next challenge.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Finance
Support the Contracts Manager and contract team through the provision of financial planning and advice
Working with the performance analysts to compile monthly reports
Monthly finance reports and submissions
Meeting with commissioners and CCGs to explain the financial impacts of contract performance
Financial planning and budget forecasting
Ad-hoc duties and responsibilities where requiredKey skills and experience:

Qualified accountant (QBE not accepted)
Previously provided financial support to Acute Contract planning
NHS background (PCT, CCG, CSU preferable)
Intermediate Excel, Access and IT skills
Up-to-date knowledge of NHS PbR guidelines
