Contracts Manager – Roofing & Cladding

Salary: £36,000 – £54,000 per year

This is a fantastic opportunity to handle supply and installation contracts for single-ply flat roofing systems and metal wall and roof cladding across the North of England.

The Position:

The appointed Contracts Manager will be responsible for:

* Managing new build and refurbishment contracts in the commercial, office, hospitality, education, retail, high rise and industrial sectors

* Providing clients with exceptional levels of customer service and delivering projects to agreed timescales and budgets

* Preparing Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)

* Ensuring compliance with statutory and company Health & Safety policies

* Carrying out toolbox talks,

* Coordinating procurement of labour and materials to ensure efficient productivity levels are achieved

* Administration, surveying, budget control, compliance and close out

* Dealing directly with contractors, end users, directors and owners

The Candidate:

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

* Proven experience of managing contracts for the supply and installation of cladding (and ideally also roofing)

* CSCS Black Card, Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) accreditation and relevant first aid training

* Good problem solving, time management and organisation skills

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage at a range of levels including senior management

* Exceptional ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities under budgetary pressures and time constraints

This is a highly autonomous position so a willingness to work from home and be self-motivated is paramount.
