Senior Staff Nurse (CAMHS)

We are currently seeking Senior Staff Nurses for our Client’s hospital located in Orpington, who specialises in mental healthcare for young people aged between 12 and 18 years old. They provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation and care for patients with or without mental illness, who may also be detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.

The Senior Staff Nurses are required for our Client’s Specialist Adolescent Mental Health Low Secure Inpatient Facility, London.

Our Client’s Hospital is at the beginning of an exciting period of service development and expansion. The range of services and number of beds that they provide for young people who require low secure care and treatment will expand within the next 10 months, and consequently, they wish to expand their team.

The successful candidate will join their developing nursing team to provide high quality, compassionate nursing care to a vulnerable group of young people aged 12 -18 and their families, who require the safety of a secure environment. You will be an experienced nurse with a sound working knowledge of multi-disciplinary team work and the clinical skills required in working alongside young people suffering with complex and challenging mental health problems and associated behaviours. You will be able to support the Charge Nurses in leading the nursing team on a day to day shift basis and in maintaining and developing the standards of care for young people.
