Architectural Assistant (P1) / Junior Architectural Technician

Our client has an enviable reputation for their abilities at delivering technically complex sustainable design solutions to the built environment. Working across the rail, commercial, industrial, healthcare, energy and infrastructure sectors, they have undoubtedly defined a very unique working practice, employing industry experts in their own field from design and engineering backgrounds.
The architectural division has seen an influx in project workloads, and therefore requires an Architectural Assistant Part 1 or Junior Architectural Technician to accompany the existing architectural design team producing architectural deliverables, defusing and studies.

Responsible from day one from taking projects from conception to completion the role will cover preparation of feasibility studies, development of outline designs, detailed design and site support under supervision.

Candidates will have a proven experience in architectural design of both small and large scale industrial projects with a good knowledge of architectural design and construction principles and standards.

Good understanding of CAD and BIM modelling principals is also essential along with a range of software proficiency including AutoCAD specific packages, Lotus notes, Microsoft Office, Revit Architecture.

At a minimum candidates will be recently qualified, but will Ideally have a t least 2 years post-qualification experience.
