Trainee Health and Social Care Assessor – North London

Working as a part of this training provider’s team you will deliver Health and Social Care Apprenticeships to learners in a group and 1 to 1 basis to learners in and around the North London / Bottom of Essex region.

This vocational qualification provider has been awarded numerous contracts by the Skills Funding Agency and this means that the majority of their one-to-one courses are supported by government funding.

Essential Experience & Skills:

•
• Care Management experience within the Health and Social Care arena (to include elderly care)
• Occupational competence in the relevant sector (Health and Social Care)
• Level 3 HSC qualification (elderly) or equivalent
• English and Maths GCSE grade C or above or equivalent
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good time management and administrative skills
• Willing to travel for work purposes and access to a car for work – as well as a full driving licence

Desirable qualifications / experience:

• Recognised Assessor award (A1 / TAQA / CAVA / D32)
• PTLLS or equivalent

Job Purpose:

• Planning training and assessments with the learners and employers
• Coaching and guiding the learner through their qualification
• Assessing the learner and ensuring their evidence meets national standards
• Providing continual feedback and support to learners.

The salary package includes a Laptop, Mobile phone, Dongle and Tablet, mileage rate at 35p per mile, RAC breakdown cover, 22 days of holiday (27 days on completing two calendar years), plus 1 day Birthday leave.
