Field Service Engineer

Salary: £40,800 – £45,600 per year

Portland – Field Service Engineer – £34k-£38k + Expenses – Marine/Defence
My client is an exciting and fast-growing provider of specialist products for the marine defence industry. They are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. You will provide engineering support and maintenance through the engineering lifecycle of the product at designate customer locations on and off-site.

This will include planning, prioritising work, to ensure procurement, installation, testing and configuration requirements are met in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations and contractual requirements.

You will report to the Field Service Team Lead and consult with the wider project team.

Key experience desired:
+ Experience in the marine, defence or aerospace industry (ideally ex-Navy/Forces/similar)
+ Electronics repairs knowledge
+ Ability and willingness to work under difficult conditions (e.g. in tight spaces)
+ Willingness to travel to customer sites, mainly in the UK but occasionally abroad also

Salary/Other Details:
+ The salary is circa £40,800 – £45,600for this permanent role depending on experience, and also comes with other benefits and travel allowances.
+ Candidates need to be eligible for UK SC Clearance for the position, so you must have a British passport, and have resided solely in the UK for the past 5 years
