Salary: £96,000 – £108,000 per year

This is a pivotal role reporting to the MD, who is keen to build on the company success achieved in 2020.

Our market-leading engineering client is disrupting the way it delivers solutions to its customer base. The company recognises the key differentiators in their offering and now feels that the time is right to optimise digital selling and marketing. They are wanting to leverage existing customer relationships to “delight” them so that they are the preferred supplier of choice.

The role:

As the Sales & Marketing Director you will be expected to:

* Constantly evaluate the market trends and continually develop and future-proof the sales model for planned growth.

* Support the management team in the development, preparation, and delivery of the Company Operational Plan.

* Responsible for leading, coaching and the development of the Business Development team, Marketing, Sales Engineers, Inside Sales, and Customer Service.

* Continue to develop and cultivate customer relationships and build a strategic understanding of their business.

* Develop, implement, and manage external communication plans including the voice of the customer and global customer surveys.

* Analysis of SAP and CRM data to drive informed decisions.

* Continuous improvement strategies to improve service, quality, and efficiency.

* Embrace the culture such that you professionally represent the values of the company.

The Person:

* 10+ years of relevant experience.

* Proven success with Sales/Marketing and Business Management.

* Curious about digital marketing in the 21st Century and future sales models.

* Professional Sales record with relevant formal course completed.

* Strong leadership capabilities coupled with strategic thinking and planning.

* Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

* Highly comfortable with IT and knowledge management functions.

Benefits Package:

For the Sales & Marketing role you can expect:

Salary £96,000 – £108,000 (OTE £110 – 120k) and a competitive benefits package including executive company car, 33 days holidays (inc. bank hols), Private Medical Insurance Health Plan, Pension and DIS. A good location just outside Bristol with parking and gym facilities onsite.
