The role
Are you a highly motivated, pro-active, confident Marketing or Business degree student or equivalent looking to gain a full range of experience in a busy Marketing department? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join a purpose driven, global organisation for a full-time, paid, fixed term placement lasting approximately 12 months. You will need to hit the ground running, getting involved in the full mix of Marketing activities and taking on projects to help drive our market leading brands. We need someone to bring both their enthusiasm and ideas to make a real contribution to our award-winning team. In return, we offer a fantastic opportunity to get involved in both UK and global campaigns, along with lots of hands-on experience, giving you a great chance to develop your skills, kick-start your career and get a market leading brand on your CV! Predominantly based at our Doncaster site, the opportunity will involve:
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the creation and improvement of marketing collateral
- Working with the Trade Marketing Executive on implementation of events and customer promotional plans
- Working with the digital team to create and improve digital content
- Assisting with PR and media activities
- Developing reference cases in conjunction with the PR agency and sales team
- Activating internal communication campaigns together with the People team
- Proof reading and ensuring quality and consistency of communications
- Working with the marketing team and product management team on a variety of projects
- Presenting project outcomes and results to the team and other stakeholders
Profile
- This opportunity would suit someone who is studying towards or has recently completed a Marketing or Business related degree (or equivalent) and who understands Marketing principles
- The dynamic nature of the role would suit an energetic and positive team member who has a pro-active approach to tasks and projects
- If you are highly motivated, creative and self-disciplined and can bring new ways of thinking and current best practices to the team, we’d like to hear from you
- If you also have an eye for detail and can effectively juggle tasks while simultaneously meeting shifting deadlines, then so much the better!
- We work with Microsoft packages and so intermediate experience in those programmes would be a benefit, as would a full UK driving licence or equivalent
