Workplace description: On the sea front, overlooking an idyllic beach and set within 5 acres of award-winning gardens, this luxuriously refurbished, 19th-century Jersey hotel offers fantastic sea views, a restaurant, and a tennis court. Rooms at the hotel feature excellent sea or garden views, while some rooms also offer balconies. Dining can be enjoyed at the restaurant, serving a wide choice of fresh cuisine made from local produce. Located in the garden, the cafe features views over the swimming pool and the bay.

Main duties and responsibilities: You must possess good communication skills. Previous experience of Front of House Systems would be an advantage but full training will be given to the right candidate.

Tasks will include working on the bar for residential guests and weddings, setting up for conferences, events and breakfasts whilst being the responsible person on site for the safety and welfare of overnight guests.

Essential criteria: You will have previous night porter experience within a good quality hotel.

Charge for accommodation: 50.00 GBP per week
