The Opportunity

Straight Shifts! Are you an experienced Kitchen Porter, do you have your own transport and are looking for a role that is straight shifts with no orders? If so please read on: –
Our client operates a successful fresh food restaurant within easy distance of both Ipswich & Suffolk. The Head Chef is currently seeking a competent Kitchen Porter to support the team and this busy restaurant on a daily basis. As kitchen porter you will have good communication skills, you will be proactive and able to take instruction.

– Daily tasks will include, washing up, deep cleaning the kitchen and its equipment
– Loading the dish washing machines
– Working with chemicals (COSHH aware)
– Cleaning ovens, range tops and kitchen surfaces

Hours are 5/7 days per week 7.30am – 5.30pm including rotational weekend work, additional benefits / breaks and meals on duty + tips

What we need from you

must have experience in a similar job role, you will need to be a focussed individual who can keep pace and clean and wash up to a good standard. Due to location you must have your own transport.
